What a breathtaking sight! By mid-summer this popular Hydrangea is covered with masses of snow-white flowers turning bluish-pink in the fall. Flowers dry well and offer winter interest if left uncut. Give this lovely species some space. They can grow to be very large. 8-10 feet is not unusual. Perfect as a centerpiece in your landscape, and stunning grown in groups of 3. Will need several hours of sun to do well. Tolerates pruning well and can be shaped easily. Prune them at any time of year aside from when the bloom heads form in the summer. Paniculata is the only hydrangea that can be trained as a standard (tree from). Fragrant, attracts butterflies, deer resistant.

Planting & Care: Dig hole twice the width of pot. Loosen soil and roots on the bottom of the root ball. Don't plant too deep. Plant level with surrounding soil. Cover area with 3" of mulch. Keep mulch 5" away from trunk. Water in well. Keep a regular watering schedule throughout the first growing season to establish good roots.
