They sell mainly bare root (without the soil), so its important to time your purchase correctly. You’ll have the best luck if you buy it in early spring and plant it in a pot with rich fluffy potting soil. Keep it watered and get the roots growing before you plant it in the ground, ideally when your spring rains are occurring.
