I did eventually buy this book. Totally worth having. After numerous attempts at the avocado/toothpick/glass of water approach, i started avocado following the steps in this book. I had beautiful avocado plants in a few short months. If only I had a place to overwinter them. Id be eating the heck out of home grown avocados right now. I also tried the celery and garlic, with good results.

Trish, I almost ordered that same book for you when I ordered the winter harvest. I read the reviews though and people talked about how most of them plants, they have never heard of! So I chose not to get it. But, it did catch my eye!
