They keep all the weeds down, and if creeping charlie makes his way into the garden, it pulls out in one tug-No more ripping into a million pieces that all seem to grow.
I believe an important factor here that must be considered is the type of wood chip. The free ones work the best! Why? Well the ones you pay for, come in all differnt colors, yadda yadda. Well those are made from wood pellets. Wood pellets are made from wood stripped of the bark which has all the life that makes a tree grow. Thats good stuff to add to your soil. The fancy expensive ones, well they have none of that life. Free=Better… I like that. 😀
